After announcing that the title of his new album would be called "Everything to Gain. Nothing to Lose." C.R.I.$.I.$. has recently disclosed that the album will be called "U.S.A. (United States of Africa)." When asked about the title, he explains that music is the only thing that really unites the African continent. Also, most people think of America when they first see 'U.S.A.' The title is another way for the artist to clarify that despite the fact that he might sound slightly American, he is actually African.
The first single off the album has not been announced yet but the project is almost complete, with seven songs being confirmed as definite for the project. It is scheduled to be released on March 9th, 2009. This date also marks the memorial for the late Notorious B.I.G.
C.R.I.$.I.$. says, "I have about 3 songs that might be potential single's. There's a song called "Play On" which has had people bouncing and I have a club joint called "She's Fresh" which kind of reminds me of Andre 3000's crazy, out of Hip-Hop style mixed with Twista with a bit of Kanye West to it. Another possible single is called "Radio" that has me doing a sort of Roger Trautman style vocoder thing on it. It's a mixture of 'Computer Love' meets LL Cool J and Jay-Z at their prime with some guitar that Slash of Guns and Roses would do. I love all these records and it's very hard to choose the best."
Features on the album have not yet been confirmed as the artist is yet to pick the final 18 songs.
The Hip-Hop Cam padre' has announced that this year will also be very busy in as far as show's are concerned. "I will be doing a lot of Gig's and I really can't wait I am excited. This album has got songs that require some real skill on stage. The people will not get bored. There are very few songs that would bring calm to the stage. There' a lot of energy and synchronisation with the fans.
